We read every email. Use this page for anything not related to trail data — for trail corrections, edit OpenStreetMap directly so the fix benefits everyone.
Trail Data Corrections
OutsideAtlas pulls trail data from OpenStreetMap. If a trail is mistagged, missing, or in the wrong location:
- Sign up at openstreetmap.org/user/new (free).
- Use the OSM iD editorto fix the trail’s tags or geometry.
- Your edit will appear here within a week or two — our next weekly pull picks it up.
Park / Campground Corrections
Park data comes from Recreation.gov. For corrections, contact the managing agency listed on the official park page (linked from every park detail page).
