Discover a seldom seen waterfall and ancient canyon walls, and learn about the local landscape, resources, history, geology, wildlife and more.The hour and a half long interpretive boat tours depart at 10 am and 1 pm daily (except Tuesday). Tours typically run from mid-June to early September, but the seasons vary depending on water conditions.

How to Get There

Park at the Pinecreek trailhead no later than an hour before your boat departs! From Montrose (one hour and fifteen minute drive) - Take Highway 50 east towards Gunnison. At mile marker 130 take a left. There is a sign here for "Pine Creek." From Gunnison (45 minute drive) - Take Highway 50 west towards Montrose. At mile marker 130 take a right. There is a sign here for "Pine Creek." Go down the road for a mile. Along the way the pavement turns to gravel. The road ends at the Pine Creek trailhead and parking area.
