About Devils Nose Target Range Day Use
The Devils Nose Target Range is located on the Arapaho National Forest, off Colorado Highway 103 in Clear Creek County. The U.S. Forest Service manages this site as an unsupervised public shooting range to provide safe and responsible recreational shooting opportunities.The target range has three shooting galleries with benches for 25, 50-75 and 100-yard shooting opportunities for a total of 24 lanes with shade cover. The facility has 20 parking spots, an information kiosk and a vault toilet. The site includes a dirt path for wheelchair access.The site is located at 11,000 feet in elevation, making it a unique location for recreational shooting. Due to the high elevation, please remember your sunscreen and water and watch for afternoon thunderstorms.This pass permits one vehicle with up to four people at the Devils Nose Target Range for one day. The site is open sunup to sundown.The range sees highest use on weekends and does temporarily close occasionally for site cleaning and maintenance.
