The St. Marys River flows between Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. The world famous ?Soo Locks? are located on the Michigan side. Visitors view lake freighters and ocean-going ships traverse the locks between Lake Superior to the north and Lake Huron to the south.
