Loon Lake Recreation Area has a small campground, East Shore Recreation Site, located one mile east of the main Loon Lake Area. There are six shady campsites, including one that is universally accessible. All sites have barbecue grills, fire pits, and tables. East Shore offers 6 shady campsites. Across the road from the campground is a day use area with 2 picnic sites.Know Before You GoThe campground is open Memorial Day until November 30.All campsites are available on a first come, first serve basis.

From Reedsport: travel east on Hwy 38 for 13 miles. Turn right onto Loon Lake Road. Continue on Loon Lake Road for 8 miles. East Shore is located on the left side of the road.
