Overview Hayden Fork Campground is located 40 miles from Evanston, Wyoming, just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway at an elevation of 8,800 feet. Hayden Fork is just outside the campground, providing great fishing opportunities. The byway cuts through the Uinta Mountains, which are known for their abundant recreational opportunities and scenic beauty. Recreation The campground is near the Hayden Fork River and offers a quiet campground experience with access to many recreation opportunities such as fishing, hiking, backpacking, and ATV trail riding. Access to High Uinta Wilderness hiking trails is nearby. Facilities Hayden Fork Campground offers 9 single camp sites each with picnic tables and fire rings. This campground offers vault restroom facilities. Natural Features This campground sits alongside the Hayden Fork River. There are a number of small beaver ponds around the campground. It sits among a thin forest of pine and aspen trees, which provide only limited shade. Summer wildflowers and grasses dot the landscape. Charges & Cancellations Reservation Cancellations & Changes Cancelling a Reservation: Customers may cancel their reservation prior to arrival both on-line and through the call center. A $10 service fee will be withheld from any refund for a cancellation. Depending on when you cancel in relation to your arrival day, it may be considered a late cancellation (see below). Changing an Existing Reservation: When changes are made prior to the cut-off window: If a customer wants to switch dates that are entirely outside of the original reservation dates, there is a $10 change fee. There is no change fee if a customer extends or shortens a reservation, as long as the change includes dates from the original reservation. If they choose to depart early, they may forfeit the recreation fee for the day of departure.
