About Little Lyman Lake Campground

Overview Little Lyman Lake is found on the shore of its namesake a short 34.6 miles south of Mountain View, Wyoming. It’s located in the Uinta Mountain range at an elevation of 9,200 feet. Recreation This campground offers access to hiking, fishing, backpacking, ATV and Equestrian Trails nearby. Facilities This is a primitive campground with 10 single campsites, each with picnic tables and fire rings provided. Vault restrooms are available at this facility. Natural Features The campground itself is small and rustic, but it’s overflowing with tranquility. There’s a five acre lake that’s filled with wildlife, and the surrounding landscapes are picturesque. Most of the sites have lake views and nice shade. Charges & Cancellations Reservation Cancellations & Changes Cancelling a Reservation: Customers may cancel their reservation prior to arrival both on-line and through the call center. A $10 service fee will be withheld from any refund for a cancellation. Depending on when you cancel in relation to your arrival day, it may be considered a late cancellation (see below). Changing an Existing Reservation: When changes are made prior to the cut-off window: If a customer wants to switch dates that are entirely outside of the original reservation dates, there is a $10 change fee. There is no change fee if a customer extends or shortens a reservation, as long as the change includes dates from the original reservation. If they choose to depart early, they may forfeit the recreation fee for the day of departure. There is no change fee if the customer wants to switch sites that are the same price with the same reservation dates in the same facility. If a reservation is made that includes dates beyond the maximum booking window, that reservation cannot be changed until 18 days have passed from the original booking date. From Mountain View, WY, take State Rt. 140 south 12.9 miles to Blacks Fork Access sign (County Rt. 271). Turn left at sign onto Rt. 271 and go 13.1 miles to the forest boundary. Here, Rt. 271 becomes Forest Rt. 058. Continue on Rt. 058 for 5.9 miles to a "Y" intersection. Bear right, staying on Rt. 058, and go 2.4 miles to an intersection. Turn right at intersection, continuing on Rt. 058, and then immediately left onto Forest Rt. 070 for 0.5 miles to the campground sign. Turn left at the sign into the campground.
