Gebo- Crosby Historical Mining District is a historical coal mining town interpretive site. The first part of the site you come to is the town along with the cemetery. A few miles down the main road you come to the main mining location with many underground tunnels. Please watch your step as these tunnels are old and unstable with possibility of cave ins occurring. Entering tunnels is not allowed.

Travel from Thermopolis on Highway 20 for 12 miles then turn left onto Sand Draw Rd. for 1.4 miles then turn onto Gebo Rd. and travel for almost a mile and you will be at the town site. Travel from Worland on Highway 20 for 21 miles then turn left onto Sand Draw Rd. for 1.4 miles then turn onto Gebo Rd. and travel for almost a mile and you will be at the town site.
